As the official spirit of the prestigious golf tournament: The Open, Glenmorangie South Africa celebrated their association with the worlds top golfing event through a four day Scottish golf experience which culminated with a Celebrity Golf Open on Sunday 17 July 2016.
The Open celebration activities in South Africa took place at Copperleaf Golf and Country Estate and started on Thursday with Glenmorangie influencers and traders participating in including archery, falconry, a bag piper experience, haggis tasting and an influencer photo-shoot.

Kondylis added: “Our Open festivities concluded on Sunday with top SA celebrities and golf aficionados TBO Touch and TTMBHA going head to head during a special golf challenge. The radio presenter and the reality TV star assembled two teams and competed for top honours during the first Glenmorangie Celebrity Open in South Africa”.
Celebrities in attendance who supported the two teams whilst enjoying tunes by DJ Sebastian included Andile Ncube, Maps Maponyane, Sinazo Yolwa, Abdul Khoza, Mampho Brescia, Khanya Mkangisa, Danine Naidoo, Mo-T, Nambitha Ben-Mazwi, Sophie Ndaba and Rosette Ncwana.
Whilst Henrik Stenson was fighting to win the highly competitive 145th Open at Royal Troon Gold Club, team TTMBHA and team TBO TOUCH were swinging golf balls around the 18-hole golf course. TT’s team consisted of Jimmy Tau, Thomas Msengana and Kgosi Nkaiseng while Touch’s team consisted of Dj Milkshake, Mike and Steve Male. Tbo Touch’s team delivered a Glenmorangie-esque great finish, and was crowned the winners of The Glenmorangie Celebrity Golf challenge.
