Steve Jobs: February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011

Steve Jobs- innovator, leader, husband, and father  passed away on Wednesday, October 5th. He was only 56 years old. Mr. Jobs is survived by his wife Laurene Powell Jobs and their three children, as well as a daughter from a previous relationship.

 

Mr. Jobs helped usher in the digital age in which we now live through his work at Apple and Pixar. He was responsible for revolutionary changes in music, film, and communication that changed the way we live our day to day lives.

As the world mourns the loss of a true genius, flowers, cards, and apples with a single bite carefully taken out of them have appeared outside Apple stores around the globe.
