Moroccanoil at Just Cavalli and Ermanno Scervino AUTUMN / WINTER 2013

Inspiration from Just Cavalli:

“The perfumes, colors and sounds of Bhutan….the Just Cavalli Collection Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 tells the story of an exotic and intoxicating journey that flows between tradition and contemporaneity, highlighting the evocative power of this country in fabrics and prints.”

The Look:

“I wanted to create a look that fully reflected the nuance and mood of this season’s Just Cavalli collection,” says James Pecis for Moroccanoil. As a result, the beautiful runway styles highlighted deep, flowing waves that were soft and feminine yet defined by a modern, sexy edge.  Smooth hair fell into cascades of strong, undulating waves that moved sensuously as models walked to the sound of the gong that marked the rhythm of the show.

“To create the looks, it was essential to use products that could create structure and support, protect the hair from blowdryer and iron, and still look natural,” said James Pecis. “Moroccanoil products were extraordinary for this look. They not only protected the hair, they revitalized it from the inside out, and gave a flexible hold that was perfect for the style.”

Inspiration from Ermanno Scervino:

“Rich, feminine, precious, glamorous…The Collection dedicated to Autumn/Winter is a blend of traditions that is projected into the future. It is a sophisticated and refined synthesis of elegance and eclectic style full of boundless allure.”

 The Look:

On the catwalk, stylist Franco Gobbi uses Moroccanoil® products to create a severe and elegant hairstyle that truly highlights the glamorous sophistication of the clothes. An open fringe at the front and very edgy at the back.

“This collection is so particular that I thought of blending a very clean hairstyle, nearly androgynous, but that gave a mischievous vibe. I was inspired by a contemporary Audrey Hepburn, with a touch of masculinity for that sexy and explosive mix. Therefore, I created a gathered yet austere look, absolutely severe at the back while an open, soft fringe gives the look a mischievous and sensual touch at the front”, said Franco Gobbi.
