London Fashion Week Update | Kristian Aadnevik AW16 Collection

Mo Kirsten

Collection Inspiration:
The Autumn/Winter collection is inspired by the raw and wild nature of a mystical winter gardens tale.

The Hair Look:
“Raw boldness. Mysterious and wild.”- Antonio Corral Calero, Global Moroccanoil Ambassador

How the Look Was Created:
– Prep dry hair with Moroccanoil Treatment Light
– Taking one inch sections of hair from the nape and working upwards, spray Moroccanoil Root Boost in a zig zag motion from roots to ends in order to create volume. Do so for the full head of hair
– Repeat the process with Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse, again section by section, to layer additional texture on the top
– Blast hair dry with fingers, roughly directing hair back from the face into a natural swept back style
– Once 90% dry, work with sections of hair from the nape upwards, blow-drying and lifting roots upwards with a Moroccanoil Boar Bristle Brush. Pay increased attention to the hair line with this process, in order to create lift at the front
– Again, working from the nape upwards, tong large sections of the hair using large barrel tongs. Leave ends slightly straight to create additional volume and texture
– Take alternating pieces of hair (two inches down from the root) and work Moroccanoil Smoothing Lotion into each section with your fingers, creating a ‘stringy’ quality
– Work a small amount of Moroccanoil Molding Cream into the palm of the hands and rub the product into your forefingers. Take your fingers and sweep them through the hairline backwards, from the root, to create additional lift and slight separation
– Finish and set with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray and mist with Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray to complete the look
