South African actress and model, Tanya Van Graan was recently photographed dazzling in Forevermark diamonds during the shooting of an internal film for The De Beers Group of Companies. Listed as one of South Africa’s most beautiful women, she has starred in both local television series such as Binnelanders and Harcopy, as well as international films, most recently, Zulu, alongside Orlando Bloom and Forest Whitakker.
Forevermark was born in 2008 as a diamond brand from De Beers and was launched in South Africa in 2011. Every Forevermark diamond comes with a unique promise of beauty, rarity and responsible sourcing. Stunning jewellery featuring Forevermark diamonds are frequently seen on Hollywood’s red carpet worn by some of the world’s biggest names including Michelle Obama, Karolina Kurkova, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Garner, Margot Robbie and the singer, Pink.
De Beers heritage can be traced back to its origin in Kimberley, South Africa, more than 125 years ago. De Beers is the world’s leading diamond company with unrivalled expertise in the exploration, sourcing and marketing of diamonds.
De Beers chose to “return to their origins” in selecting Tanya, a South African face, to be part of their film. Tanya features as a beautiful 1950’s Hollywood actress on the red carpet wearing jewellery from the Caratco for Forevermark Red Carpet Collection. Caratco has the exclusive license to distribute Forevermark in South Africa and has created a beautiful Red Carpet Collection, including a necklace, earrings and bracelet, as part of its ongoing initiative to build awareness of Forevermark.
A retail scene, also part of the De Beers film, was shot on location at Jewel Africa in Cape Town. Jewel Africa is Caratco’s retail brand, and their stores in Cape Town and Johannesburg are flagship Forevermark showrooms.
