VIVID was commissioned to launch Bentley Motors South Africa’s contemporary new Continental GT V8, as part of a bigger PR Campaign VIVID was executing for the brand. Because Bentley wanted to appeal to a younger audience in their Cape Town demographic, VIVID conceptualized a campaign that would provide a completely different appeal for the brand (in line with its international strategy), and negotiated partnerships with Dom Pérignon and The Reserve Club in Cape Town as the venue for the event.
VIP guests, media and celebrities were greeted by the sparkling new Continental GT V8 upon arrival, and welcomed by beautiful models dressed by Wolford to represent what the Bentley brand stands for internationally.
VIP guests entered the stunning luminous green venue inspired by Dom Pérignon’s Luminous campaign, while enjoying champagne and delicious canapés by The Reserve Brasserie. Acclaimed a’Capella group D-seven treated guests to a memorable performance, and the guest list included some of Cape Town’s hottest celebrities, amongst others Jeannie D, Roxy Louw, Tracy McGregor, and Natalie Becker.
